A bug report describes something in the game that isn't working as expected.
Examples include:- A checker refusing to move to an apparently legal destination.
- Legal-move highlights failing to appear.
- Dice not responding correctly.
- Board artwork displaying incorrectly.
- Game controls overlapping or disappearing.
- A game freezing or failing to load.
- Settings not being saved.
Please include your device type and model, if known.
Examples:- Windows desktop or laptop.
- Apple Mac.
- Apple iPad or iPhone.
- Android phone or tablet.
Examples include:
- Google Chrome.
- Apple Safari.
- Mozilla Firefox.
- Microsoft Edge.
TrigammonX is regularly updated. Please include the version number displayed in your game. For example, a version might look like v5.1.5. This is important because a problem affecting one version may already have been corrected in another.
Explain the problem in your own words.
Try to answer three questions:- What were you trying to do?
- What did you expect to happen?
- What actually happened?
"I rolled the dice and selected a checker. I expected to see legal-move highlights, but no coloured rings appeared."
If possible, describe the steps leading up to the issue.
Example:- Opened TrigammonX.
- Started a new game against two AI opponents.
- Selected Triple Dice mode.
- Rolled the dice.
- Selected a checker.
- No legal destination highlights appeared.
Some issues may depend on your selected settings.
Helpful information includes:- Triple Dice or Two-Dice mode.
- Human and AI player configuration.
- Board design or theme.
- Automatic or manual rotation.
- Combined Moves enabled or disabled.
- Any custom layout or display settings.
A picture can often explain a problem better than a long description!
Where possible, include:- A screenshot showing the problem.
- A screenshot of the full board.
- A short screen recording showing how the problem occurs.
