TrigammonX includes a variety of settings that allow you to customise how the game looks, feels, and plays.
Whether you prefer a classic board, colourful designs, automatic rotation, or additional movement assistance, you can tailor the experience to suit your preferences.
- Open TrigammonX.
- Look for the Settings, Options, or relevant game control panel.
- Open the section containing the feature you want to adjust.
- Change the available option.
- Save or apply your changes if prompted.
The exact names and locations may vary between versions.
TrigammonX uses Triple Dice (three dice) by default.
If you prefer a more traditional experience, you can select the optional Two-Dice variation.- Triple Dice: Three dice, providing additional movement possibilities.
- Two Dice: Two dice, offering a different strategic experience.
Depending on the version, you may need to begin a new game for a change in dice mode to take effect.
TrigammonX supports different ways of viewing its unique three-sided board.
Automatic RotationAllows the board to rotate as players take turns, helping present the playing area from different perspectives.
Manual Rotation
Lets you control the board's orientation yourself. With three players, the board can rotate in 120-degree increments. Changing the board's orientation does not alter checker positions or the rules of the game.
TrigammonX offers different board themes.
Depending on your game version, you may find themes such as:- Monte Carlo
- Neon Forge
- Time Rift
- Pharaoh's Gate
- Atlantis Nexus
- Fire
Some themes may still be undergoing development or testing.
Board themes affect the game's appearance, not its movement rules.
TrigammonX provides options for customising checker appearance.
Depending on the available settings, you may be able to select different colours or adjust the appearance of player pieces. These options help you create a more personalised playing experience.
Legal-move highlighting helps identify available destinations when you select a checker. You may see coloured rings showing where a checker can legally move. These highlights can be useful for new players and experienced players alike. Look for movement assistance or highlighting options in your game settings.
In versions where combined moves are available, this feature helps identify destinations reachable by using more than one die with the same checker. Combined moves must still follow the normal legal-movement rules. Where supported, you may be able to enable or disable combined-move assistance.
TrigammonX includes adjustable layout and display features designed for different devices and screen sizes.
Depending on the version, available options may include:- Board size and positioning.
- Arrangement of game controls.
- Display of player information.
- Board rotation preferences.
- Different game layouts.
Some TrigammonX versions support locally saved profiles and preferences. This means certain settings may remain available when you return using the same browser and device.
Important: Clearing your browser's website data, using private browsing, or switching devices may cause locally saved settings to become unavailable. Cloud-based preference synchronisation is planned for future development. If you change a setting but don't see the expected result:
- Check whether the setting requires you to apply or save changes.
- Confirm the feature is available in your game version.
- Check whether it requires starting a new game.
- Try returning to the settings panel to verify your selection.
